I have tatted a few rings with my ni...Nicely done! I have tatted a few rings with my niece's long hair a while ago and it worked out fairly good. One little tip when tatting with hair. Condition the hair before using to get rid of brittle spots. I know that when making the woven flowers in the art of hairwork that you are supposed to boil the hair to make it really pliable and not break. Haven't tried that and tatting it. I don't think I'd like tat...That certainly is tiny! I don't think I'd like tatting with my hair, even if it was long enough. I have a friend who asked me to help her learn to crochet with some yarn she had spun. I didn't like the feel of it, but trying to be polite, I asked her about it. It was hair from her cat! She decided she didn't like the feel of it either... thank goodness!
