Just when I get used to the hobos the widows move in.

So yeah, I am a little freaked out right now. I found this lady in my studio today which means I will be getting zero work done in my studio until all the spiders are under control. I have a plethera of Hobo spiders...those are the ones whose bite will rot your flesh. I was just getting used to them. Then this morning I almost got chased by this huge widow, she was really aggresive. I know this has nothing to do with tatting except that it will put me behind on my shuttles until this spider problem is remedied.
It took me an hour to gather the courage to go out there, take this photo (because I knew no one would believe me) and then exterminate her. I love all living things but her bite could kill me so I'd rather it be her than me. Plus I don't want any of my pets or my dear husband to get bitten. I had to do it. Now I am concerned about how many others are lurking out there. Yikes!!!

Just wanted to tell you I think your shuttles are gorgeous! I watched a woman tatting once and was completely entralled. Lovely work.
