Here is a teaser of one of the many projects I am currently working on, unblocked of course. It is a pattern designed by the very talented Camelia Crapo Lambert, and I think this is the most fun pattern I have ever tatted. Way to go Camelia! This pattern can be found in KNOTS Vol 2, Issue 4, #10 March 1996 by Mary McCarthy. Mary sells back issues of KNOTS.
I've seen these tatted pineapples here and there and have always wanted to give it a go. In fact, this was what I was working on at the Great Wall.
I have other "BIG" projects that I must keep under my hat for awhile...so if you don't see a lot of tatting around here for a little while...you know why!
Also, I just noticed that this is my 300th post! Holy moley...how did that happen? Didn't we just celebrate the 100th post? When I reach my 500th post I will throw a big party and you are all invited!

Oh a party sounds lovely, I will definitely join if I am able to.
Lovely pineapple tatting you have got there.
Beautiful doily!
Love the purple! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished piece!
Hi Sherry,
the doily looks terrific.
are you designing it your self, or is it a pattern that you are following?
Is there going to be free HDT for everyone at that party??? LOL! ;)
I love what I see so far! My friend Denise is addicted to crocheted pineapple designs... she's going to love this tatted design!
Hi Jeanne,
Thanks for the question.
Duh! I should've credited the author. I have now corrected my mistake.
It's by Camelia Lambert.
Chiclet...free HDT???? You are too funny!
Congratulations on your 300th posts, Sherry. How long have you been blogging? Your purple pineapple doily looks lovely!! Looking forward to seeing the finished piece.
Camelia just does wonders with the pineapple motif. I got to see much of her work in person in Montana. You've done a beautiful job with this one.
