My test tatters have finished their testing and have given their approval.
This book is finally finished and will be going to print this coming week!
Whew! In case I forgot how much work books are, I was certainly reminded with this one.
Details, details, details....For goodness sake I have well over 100 hours into this book.
The book walks you step by step through this continuously tatted doily. It is 16 pages of full color detailed pictures and diagrams accompanied by fully written instructions. It even comes with it's own set of picot gauges.
After seven months of tatting, designing, re-designing, diagramming and re-diagramming and photo editing myself silly, I am finally able to put this behind me and start on the next project. I am proud of this design and am happy to share it with the tatting world.
Watch the shop...it should be listed sometime next week!

Oh, I am so excited to see this finished - for you and for all of us! I can't wait to see the book. You've done a beautiful job.
Oooooh, I can't wait!! *starts doing finger exercises*
Congratulations! It's so beautiful! I hope you get a lot of sales.
Congratulations! Your new design is so beautiful!
Beautiful design. I look forward to seeing what else is in your book.
Did I miss a post somewhere? When did you start working on this book, and more importantly, when did you find time to work on it?!!! As I recall you have been rather busy moving overseas, traveling to various places (including the Great Wall, no less! - and tatting a beautiful doily while there), making many skeins of lovely HDTs, teaching tatting, and taking painting lessons (you deserved the hugs for that lovely painting)! Not to mention being sidelined by some health concerns. I was also quite moved by your post on your birthday. You are an amazing person! Congratulations on accomplishing this book! Also, Happy Thanksgiving wishes are sent to you and your husband in appreciation for your service to the country. By the way, your tatting is pretty amazing, too!
