What time is it????

.....time to tat of course!

I am mostly writing this post as a future reference for myself;

**Note to self: Self, you need to turn this doily into a clock!***

This is for one of those days when I am bored and looking for inspiration and going through all my old posts!
Anyhow, don't you think this would make a grand clock project! I don't have time to do it in the near future.....but someday I would love to make a doily clock!
If anyone else wants to make a doily clock you can get the pattern here!

I've been dyeing a buttload of thread both cotton and silk. "Buttload" is a funny word....probably not appropriate for this blog but I've been saying it a lot lately...for example; "I have a buttload of crap to do."

O.k. I got it out of my system, hopefully this is the last time you'll ever have to hear me say buttload.

Raspberry Mousse

Peach Pandorea

Marina

These are new batches of old colorways. These will become part of my permanent collection of HDT as I have become pretty consistent with keeping the dye batches similar.

Lovely colors of thread Sherry! And that would make a wonderful clock. I never would have thought of that. I enjoy reading all of your posts about your adventures in Korea. I'm glad that you have friends to spend time with over there and that you are teaching them tatting. That is sooo cool!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Pretty, pretty thread. Oranges and yellows have been my least favorite colors, but I'm thinking about changing my mind -- that Peach Pandorea is scrumptious!

Sherry
Beautiful idea, and until you have time to tat a new doily for the clock, you can google directions for making a clock from a photo of the doily with a plane clock you can purchase anywhere. I've done this and it's really easy and makes great gifts.

Yes! That doily would make a beautiful clock face!

As for "buttload"....just don't name a colorway that :)

LOL! I agree with Grizzly Mountain Arts on the naming of the colorway! Too funny. What exactly is the amount of a buttload, anyway? On second thought...never mind... I don't want to know!
A doily clock sounds fabulous! What's even better is that you can make it any color you want!
