#1 for the 25 motif challenge
This is BUTTER TOFFEE in size 20 tatting thread. My friend and student Kyoung-mi loves fish. Fish are a common theme in her pottery shop and paintings....so I decided to design a tatted fish espcially for her
I decided to join the The 25 MOtif Challenge again this year. It is a fantastic way to motivate oneself to tat. Anyhow this year my challenge is to tat 25 motifs all in a different HDT (hand dyed thread).
That way I can have a sample of all my hdt's tatted up...I've been meaning to do this for awhile, so today is as good as any to start.

What a cool fish! The button for the eye finishes it perfectly.
Very cute! I love the little fin!
Ohhh... that’s wonderful, I was planning on giving it a shot as well... maybe i'll enroll myself in. I cannot disagree with you, 25 Motif challenge is a wonderful inspiration too...
Your fish btw looks so cute.
I love the fish and I'm sure Kyoung-mi will as well. You are a very thoughtful friend!
Adorable little fishy! Love the color too.
I love your fish but I must say the idea of tatting with 25 different kinds of HDT is almost to much excitement to handle.
You know if you turn this 90 degrees...it looks like a basket.
:-))))
hey that's a great idea, sherry, to tat motifs with your HDT.
the fish is so cute!
What a cool way to do the challenge! :)
