More pictures from Japan. This is Squid Ink pasta and it was genuinely very tasty. But it turned one's tongue and teeth black...and even though it tasted good, it was kind of hard to get over the fact that it is squid ink.

I think these guys are my favorite characters from the trip.
Maybe inspiration for new HDT?
More hints to where we are moving next; the primary spoken language is English and I may need to keep an eye out for bears......

Could it be Canada? Are there any US military bases there? Wouldn't that be so much closer to home? My dad was in the Army and we use to hate moving around. A new school each time and always having to make new friends, and we never went anywhere, where it snowed.

That would be a cool HDT!

Oh, Canada?

At first I thought it was Swissland or Austria - but this morning, to Colorado.

I thought Canadian speaks more French then English.

I doubt it would be Canada; I don't think there are US military bases here, except NORAD (Zarina, french is spoken mainly in Quebec, with pockets of french speaking communities throughout the country).

Alaska, perhaps?

The fishes are so cute! Is it Canada, southern California or New Zealand... I am totally baffled thinking about your next destination - spill it out, can’t bear the suspense any longer!!!

In that case I have to back to my earlier guess of Greenland, Thule. Hope you get to see a bear...but not too close.

I'm just glad you get to go somewhere that sounds like you have a chance of regaining a balance on your health. hmmmm...bears and snow and snowboarding and primarily English spoken but overseas.

Those fishies are so ugly they're cute! LOL! Very pretty colors! :)

The fishies would be a great inspiration for a new HDT. They are "pretty" but in a very cool way.
