I'm sooooooo T...I...R...E...D!

I am happy to report that my Mojo is now potty trained. I really can't take much credit for it as he is so super smart...but it does make life a little bit easier for me. Especially since I have a lot on my plate right now.

TREEBEARD

BUTTER TOFFEE

AUTUMN ORANGE

AMBROSIA

What is all this?????? Well these are the inspiration photos for HDT's (hand dyed tatting, embroidery, crochet and crazy quilting threads)that have been recently added to the shop. We have cotton sizes 20, 50, 80 and silk size 20. Sizes 10 and 100 can be dyed on special request.

Maybe tomorrow I can show pictures of my studio...you guys won't believe it when you see it! I am so excited but it has taken me FOREVER to get it to this point. It's hard work man! But I must say I DO love working with power tools.

It's great that little Mojo is growing up! And a relief to you! Your color inspiration pictures look wonderful - I'll bet the threads are gorgeous!

Treebeard and Ambrosia are my favorites. :) If the pictures have me thinking "Oh, wow!," the thread ought to knock my sox off. Congrats on getting your little guy to potty train himself -- bet lots of moms wish they could do that.

I'm SO DELIGHTED that Mojo has such a happy home! (Great photo of the two of you!) Your story of 'adopting' him was very heartwarming. He must know how lucky he is! I'm also curious how you potty train a bird! :)

I recognized 'Treebeard', because I received this beautiful thread yesterday (along with gorgeous Rio - thanks SO MUCH; I was so excited to see the envelope!), and I wondered where you got the name Treebeard. So I 'searched' your blog and found the post where you first showed the thread and explained the 'Lord of the Rings' connection, and then looked THAT up on the Net. (See what you started?) Have to admit I'm not familiar with the story (although I've certainly heard of the book!), but the thread is very cool, with subtle variations. Can't wait to tat with both of them!

I'm anxious to see your studio! Careful with those power tools!

The photos are lovely and it looks like you've been busy dying up some autumnal HDT's! ☺

Your photo is fabulous!
Oh, you're tempting me again with those threads! Still have some from you at Shuttlebirds that I want to tat with. Think I bought enough for a couple years but always "need" more.
Will be fun to see your studio. Karen

I didn't know you could potty train a bird. Are you playing with our minds? :)
I can just see you with a powertool in your hands. Do you have a favorite?

What a sweet picture! Congratulations on the potty training. That is such a blessing. I had an Eclectus parrot several years ago that was potty trained. It was SO funny. We'd be watching tv and he'd say, "Gotta go!" We'd go to the cage for his break and he'd say "okay." Have lots of fun with him. The inspiration for the new colors really has me intrigued. I'll be watching.
