Is Christmas really right around the corner?

Just finished adding some old favorites to the Shop. We have "OLDE SAINT NICK" and "COUNTRY CHRISTMAS".
I've added dozens upon dozens of hand dyed threads(HDT) skeins today. Even with my wrist splints all the winding of said skeins have taken their toll. None-the-less I am having fun with some new colorways:

HOSTA LEAF

OLD ENGLAND

...and here's a fun hook pen.
I don't know why but I feel very "wintery" today. It must be because it is FREEZING in my house. I think I'm going to go have a cuppa this:

WASSAIL Ingredients:

1 gallon apple cider
27 whole cloves
8 cinnamon sticks
1 quart pineapple juice
1 can (6 ounce) frozen orange juice concentrate

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a large crockpot and simmer. Serve hot.

....I almost forgot to add that my thread has made an appearance in an Etsy treasury.
YAY!

OK, I LOVE EVERYTHING IN YOUR BLOG. Take it easy with your wrists. I will try your recipe. It sounds like it would taste wonderful.

Wowie Zowie! Those new threads are bee-yoooo-ti-ful!

More items for my Letter to Santa! (Although I don't know where to send it, since the USPS has axed the Letter to Santa program.)

Please don't over do it. Those tendons and ligaments have got to last you a long, long time.

P.S. Serendipity! My word verification for this post is "exsesaf" -- excessive, get it? It's a SIGN.

I agree you must take it easy, but the thread and hook pen are lovely.

Your threads are JUST beautiful!

I really like your watercolor. It's so pretty and places you there with those lovely flowers on a breezy hillside. At least that's where it takes me.. and it looks like there could be rain in those clouds...

DO take care of yourself and listen to your body! Maybe you could do some more painting. Your work is beautiful and seems to inspire your HDT.

Oh, I just KNEW it was one of your watercolors so I didn't check for a signature! It has the feel of others you have done which are every bit as beautiful.

Oooh, love the 'Hosta Leaf', very pretty! Not to say that I don't just love the other ones, too.

And please be careful! The last thing we want is for you to be injured in such a way that you'll never be able to tat again.

Everyone has given you good advice regarding your hands; I won't nag! I'm sure you have sense enough to know when to quit.
Visited the etsy site and I continue to love the designs that you've put on your hook pens (so HANDY). AND, I must admit, I'm mighty tempted by some of the shuttles with the lace designs. :>) Esp. the white one!
Lovely fruits of your labor.
I think I'll get the ingredients while we are in Tucson and make some of your 'brew' Sounds yummy ~ cloves, cinnamon (thank goodness for spell check; It's like spelling, banana)
I digress ~ think I'll just eat my Snickers!
hugs, Grams
