Mojo the Menace

Since I get a lot of questions on how my little MOJO is doing I thought I would share an update.
Mojo has taken to "exploring". Meaning that he likes to get out of his cage, out of his room and wander around the house looking for adventures. Up until this point, Mojo has never been locked in his cage. His cage door is always open and he has the freedom to do whatever contents his little bird heart. Well, for his safety and my sanity, I have had to start locking him in when I am unable to supervise his exploits. He has taken to chasing the dog (70 pounds of muscle) and the three legged cat all over the house. They are completely terrified of him. I never thought I would have to protect my dog and cat from my bird.
Here he is hanging off of my camera strap while I was trying to take photos of him. He doesn't sit still for more than a second at a time. He is probably the biggest personality in the whole house, and if I could harness his energy he could light up the whole planet.
...and finally, he fancied a little bird wrestle. He likes to pull his cute Jedi mind tricks on me. He makes me love him even though he is a horrible obnoxious little creature.

He is such a character I can imagine him giving the dog and cat a hard time. But at the end of the day he is still loveable!!!!

I have a friend with a Macaw, Amazon and Sun Conure. 2 weeks ago my 'boys' (English Budgies) spent a few hours with them at a cancer fund raiser and came back squacking like the Macaw. (We have been working on words for a year). They are a joy, but they all seem to have their own little personalities that we adore. Glad you are having fun with MoJo.

I believe our most 'obnoxious' beasts get exactly what they want - our attention! My comedian boxer makes me laugh somehow every day - good for the spirit :) Mojo has personality plus - also perfect for artistic inspiration!
