Belated St. Patty's Surprise

Blathnaid aka Brenda the lovely leprechaun lass and I decided together to create a special silver shuttle for Tatskool. Since the shuttle had to travel all the way to Ireland it didn't quite arrive when it was supposed to. Anyhow, now that it has landed safely we can share it with you!

I have not been feeling at all well this week, so every little thing is a big challenge. But I did want to share what I accomplished in a small block of time when I wasn't too miserable.

I am working a few pottery pieces with tatting embellishments to take to ShuttleBirds this year....so if you are going to this "Oh so FUN" convention you will be the first to lay hands on this very special pottery.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I do hope you will be feeling better soon =) I'm looking forward to meeting you at Shuttlebirds and taking your Gwens Angel class! I also can't wait to see your pottery and your threads. I'm putting aside all that I can for shopping =)

It's sad to hear you're not feeling well. How do you get so much done instead of hibernating? I'm looking forward to seeing you and your pottery and threads in Spokane. May you get, and stay, well. Karen

I wish I could join you at Shuttlebirds, I'm there in my heart. Do pray you are feeling better.

The shuttle is darlin' all those little clovers

I love the effect that tatting has when pressed with ceramics. Bekah did a set of serving dishes, coup shape, with tatting pieces embedded. She was really happy how they turned out for her Sr. Show. Pottery can be so 'iffy' especially in a class room's kiln. you know? lOL

Have fun in Spokane…I haven't been there for quite a few years. I did visit Ephrata, Soap Lake and Moses Lake a few years back (2004 I think).

I'm sorry to hear your not feeling well. You are very active, it's got to be extra hard on you to relax and take the time needed to recover.

You and Brenda did a lovely job on Tatkool's shuttle, it is beautiful!! I'm sure she is tickled pink, or maybe it should be tickled green, over it.

Once again I'll have to live Shuttlebirds thru my friend's blogs, so please be sure to take lots of pictures.

Feel Better
