no change yet

I just hate to write gloomy post after gloomy post but things have only gotten worse in my household. I am now 15 pounds under my target weight for being 17 weeks pregnant. I did start a new prescription today that is supposed to help with the nausea so we shall see if things start to finally look up.
I have been sick for over 70 days straight now..and that is pretty darn frustrating and tiring. My house is a disaster, I have zero motivation to do anything. My husband has been extremely ill and the stress of all that is certainly taking its toll. This sucks!...and where I can usually muster up a sense of humor in the bleakest of times...I am not laughing anymore.
Still keeping my fingers crossed that I will have some happier postings in the near future.

I'm sorry! :o(

But soon you will be very active, you'll see. Because every pregnant women have big starving on the last tree months and all of them want to washing all the windows and arrange the furnitures on the living room. :o)

It sounds funny but true.

Best regards! ♥

Oh dear! I do sympathize with the seemingly never-ending nausea--I have that problem, but not for the same reason as yours. Just know that growing babies take everything they can get from MOM so your baby will grow OK. If things get too rough and the prescription isn't helpful enough, there are stronger interventions to make sure both Mom and Baby stay adequately nourished. One of my dear friends puked her way through an entire pregnancy, didn't gain a thing, and now has twin teenage daughters giving her lots of gray hair! You *will* get through this!!!

Hang in there and know that lots of tatters are sending you and yours positive thoughts, prayers, and good wishes.

I noticed your absence and wondered how you were. I think yours was the blog I commented on but missed the verification code last time! One of my DIL's was much like you, nauseated and in & out of the hospital for dehydration but my beautiful grandson (youngest grandson) is now 14 and quite a handful. Very very smart too.

Relax, listen to soothing music, get a little sunshine. Hope your hubby gets better too. If you are both having the same symptoms, maybe you should consider it might be something in the house?? Hoping for good health SOON!

If all else is failing, go to your doctor. One of my daughters was extremely sick during her pregnancy - she was carrying twins - and her dr prescribed a VERY expensive medication which worked like magic. We are in Australia, so probably your Health system will require different hoops to be jumped through - there were several! - but it did work. At least, as my daughter said, it just took the edge off so that she could function for most of the day. However, as I mentioned, they are terribly expensive pills, somewhere in the order of $30 each.......if you have good health insurance, that covers part of it.

Oh Sherry I am so sorry this is so hard for you. My heart aches for you little mama.

Just remember that you have a big God, and you can complain to him all you want....he can take it :-) He loves you, and your growing family more than we on earth can understand.

Feel free to vent in my direction if you need.

Bummer. I wish there was a magic cure and your doctor knew it. We miss you when you're not here. It's easy to see how having hubby not well, too is stressful. One thing's certain -- let the house take care of itself. Ours is usually a disaster -- and none of us are sick! We manage to live through it until one of us gets the clean up bug. Make sure you tell your sweet little Picadilly what a pain in the patoot she was when you can look into her sweet little face. I'll send all the healing vibes I've got power over in your direction (and since I'll be in Buhl on Saturday, they won't have far to go!).

Knowing that you are still feeling miserable makes me wish I could come over and help you out. (Yes, I would vacuum and dust and tidy my heart out if it helped make you feel a tiny bit better.)

It has been said aplenty, but hang in there. Your sweet Picadilly really is worth every wave of nausea.

Huge hugs! You're doing great!

I'm so sorry that you are having such a time, Sweetie. Seventy days of this is simply incredible! But like everyone else keeps saying...one glimpse of Sweet Picadilly...and it will all be forgotten: BELIEVE ME!
Get your rest and pamper yourself...that housework can wait! It's so boring, boring, boring anyway...Have a bath and a nap instead! Sweet dreams...and I hope you and your little family are feeling frisky again soon!

You poor thing, I had hoped things were improving...but now your husband is poorly too!
I am sure it must be very frustrating to feel so awful and not be able to do anything, but just forgive yourself, and let yourself rest.
Me too, I wish I could come over and lend a hand...I wish, :)

I hope this new medication works for you. I'm sure it must seem almost impossible to have any kind of a positive or up feeling when you're both so sick. Thinking that each day you get through brings you closer to this being over may help. You're in my prayers and I send best wishes for much better days ahead.

I have been very concerned about you...and you've gone quiet which has just made it worse for those of us who love you.
I do hope things will begin to 'look up' I wonder if the little purple pill they gave me for chemo nausea would work for you. hummmm I'll look up the name. Works for me and it worked for Loyal after his hip replacement; when we got home.
The Leps are very concerned about you, too. They have had their heads together, 'thinking and thinking'.

It is now the 30th and I've just been able to get my head up from taking care of DH...although i've been checking in on blogs...I missed yours...

Sending my love and praying things will get beter for you both..
