Glow in the dark UFO's

I've been trying to catch up on some unfinished tatting projects. This one I started a couple Christmas's ago. Glow in the dark motifs for the Christmas tree.
I can tell you taking a photo of these was none too easy but it turned out kinda cool.
I have been tatting from Patti Duff's MINI TATS. I don't have much time to sit and tat big projects with half my day being taken up with breastfeeding and all, so these small projects are great. Also, I have been making so many tatting mistakes...on almost every motif I attempt. I think it is a testament to how overtired I am. Anyhow I got this really awesome thread from Deb. I think it is equivalent to a size 80 or 100. It tats up pretty nicely and is just plain fun to work with.
Here is another motif from MINI TATS using FAERIES HDT. Felt like tatting with some silk...since it is my FAV!

Small motifs help give such a great feeling of accomplishment! I think that's why I enjoyed the 25 Motif Challenge so much.

Give Piccadilly a hug! I'm in baby-hugging mood... my nephew's wife just had their first baby last night... Gavin Lawrence... my first time being a great aunt!

I use Patti Duff's Mini Tats with the exchange threads. She has some great patterns. Seeing your post makes me want to get silk Faeries HDT but it'll have to wait until I use some already here. Will you make it to Spokane this year?
I come to your blog daily and use your side bar to go to other blogs. I love getting to see pictures of Miss Piccadilly every day. My fav is the one of you two in the matching hats. Thank you for sharing with us. Karen in OR

The glow in the dark motifs look cool!!!
It might be the time of year or the breastfeeding or mini brain farts that happen in life but there is nothing wrong in tatting little motifs; as long as they make you feel good!! (just a little of mommy voice in that!)
