Locks of Love

This past weekend I decided to donate my 18 inches of hair to the "Locks of Love" foundation. What do you think?
I bet they will be able to make two wigs out of the donated hair. I sure hope so!
Also, I am hoping that by losing so much hair maybe....just maybe my headaches might subside.
I've been tatting but do not have anything to show just yet.

Looks wonderful - and a worthy cause! Surely it will be easier to take care of, which will give you more time to tat! I think short hair makes you look even younger!

It looks wonderful!!
I feel bad now, I've cut off two ponytails. Both of which were intended to be sent to Lock of Love, but they still sit in my kitchen, in a plastic bag. Maybe I should go ahead and send it.
Thank you for the reminder!
Are you enjoying the amount of time you save my not having to brush?
My hair is getting long... and I do not like brushing it. :o)

You look good with it short, and it is for a great cause. Long hair is amazingly heavy, so this might very well help eliminate some of your headaches. Here's to hoping so!

I like the look of your new style. I can't imagine the courage it took to make the decision to cut your beautiful hair. Karen in OR

You look absolutely adorable! I wish I had the same courage to just go short like that. I've never had a short haircut that really worked for my face, but yours totally does. Gorgeous! And good for you on donating to such a good cause!

You look really cute in short hair! And I'm certain some wonderful little kids will look great with hair. What a nice thing to do. I hope it helps you as well.

I think short hair suits you, plus someone else benefits, so a win win situation.

What a pity to lose your hair but it is to a good cause.

I think the headaches will improve now without so much weight on your head and you will be cooler in summer

You are gorgeous both before and after! Hah, and I sympathize with Jess -- I have ten inches of ponytail sitting around in a plastic bag somewhere too. Two years old by now.... does hair expire? :/

You look beautiful and, I believe, younger and more radiant! I'm sure they will get two wigs out of it and two little girls will be so happy.
