Making bobbin shuttles

Here I am working on some copper bobbin shuttles.  The last time I worked with copper I almost burned my face off.  But this copper has a safer firing process so I don't have to worry about that again.
I found Piccadilly in the laundry basket reading a manual of all things.  What a funny gal!

Miss P always brightens my day! What an adorable child!
So glad to hear the copper firing issue has been resolved, but I have to admit that the whole process is a mystery to me! I admire all of your amazing artistic skills and knowledge.

I'm amazed at all the wonderful shuttle ideas you come up with! I'm happy to know that there's no chance of you burning your face off this time. It must be that Miss P. is reading the manual to you so that you know exactly what to do! ; )

Miss P reminds me of what her mama might actually be like in real life!

Stay safe! Perhaps the manual being read is 'Copper-Firing Safety'? She's trying to protect you, how sweet is that? ;-)

Oh dear, pls be careful even with the safer clay option. I'd love to see more of you. :)

Miss P sure looks like she's savouring the manual! Wow, you are having a brilliant baby.
