The Shuttlebirds Tatting Scholarship

Well, it seems that the winning bidder of the "Empress" headdress I listed on ebay has turned out to be a non-paying bidder. I'm not sure what I will do from here. I just wanted to help out the tatting scholarship. I'm sure I will find another way. I don't want to do another ebay auction since they are so expensive. I thought about maybe doing a silent auction or donating it to Shuttlebirds and letting them auction it off next year. I don't know, it's all a bit discouraging. Any suggestions? On a lighter note, I saw something really cool on Facebook today.
They were advertising MY book. I feel pretty lucky that I even saw the ad because after the page refreshed it was gone. I am blown away. I've never bought an ad or anything like that. Pretty cool!

So sorry that it turned out that way...
On a lighter note - Congrats on the book showing up on the ads... Cool way to show your stuff.
Is Miss P's hair growing in well?

If you got a second bid, I think they let you sell it/offer it to the next highest bidder. Do make sure to leave negative feedback so other sellers know that this person is not worthy to do e-bay things.

Everyone knows how awesome Miss S is, that is why your book was featured in the etsy ad.
On another note.. sorry to hear about the ebay problem, I think you had the right idea, I too think that you can offer it to the 2nd highest bidder, but I am not sure of the procedure. It is a pretty headdress, wish I had a use for it.

How discouraging it must be to have a non-payer! I did forget to pay for an item one time, but I received a reminder and paid as soon as I received the notice. I was so embarrassed! I think I was so excited that I won, I forgot to follow up!

I'm not at all surprised that your book was featured in the ad... your patterns are awesome!

Don't be discouraged over the non-paying bidder, whatever is the reason for him/her for doing so. It's not the fault of you nor your product. Perhaps it's a good idea to have it auctioned at the event! I want to commend you for the effort and thought. You are awesome, Sherry!

I hope the non payer will get a reminder and pay up, what a pity it was a lovely head dress.
I am not surprised your book was in an advert on esty, it looks a lovely book and is on my wish list.
