I have had family in town the last few days...they were like a whirlwind but mostly a good whirlwind! I will not be seeing them again for at least a year so it was a bittersweet visit.
My dog really loves people and when my family started packing up to go home this morning she got really depressed. I know with this move she senses that things aren't as usual and it is making her insecure. Poor baby.
I took this after her grandparents and great-grandparents left.
I think a walk might cheer her up!
One of the neat things we did was go to the outlet mall to shop at a clearance sale. As I have stated before, I HATE shopping. But this time it was actually fun! We all found something we couldn't live without...including the men! My favorite part is that me, my mom and my gran all bought matching sandals. That is three generations of women who agreed on something. This will be a special memory.
This is the newest listed tatting shuttle.
I am working my pants off with the move and getting ready for shuttlebirds tatting convention. I am so excited! I will be sure to document it well and share it with you all so you can feel as if you were there too!

Oh, bless her poor little doggie heart! That picture looks so sad. What a special moment--to agree with other female relatives! LOL That would be a first in my family :) I love the colors and pattern in your new shuttle! Beautiful!
She looks heartbroken. I hope she is better now. I can't belive three women could agree on anything. Congratulations! The shuttle is beautiful.
Poor doggy. That pic of the feet is just precious...almost frame-able. A 3 generation foot photo. How many people have that? I checked your etsy site, but I did not see the new shuttle. Where did it go?
Thank you ladies! It's your encouragement that keeps me going!
"Doily Lover" -The shuttle already sold....but I will list two more today!
That is a cute photo of the sandals, and so neat that you ladies all agreed on the style!
Have fun at Shuttlebirds!
LOL! I like the picture of the three ladies feet. Now to guess which ones belong to who :-)
Ha! Are you the one with the toe ring? Beautiful dog, btw.
:-) Gina
You guessed right Gina! Thank you, pets are the BEST!
Wow, amazing picture of the dog. I really hope her depression is over, give her a kind pat from a tatter that feels sorry for her, please.
