Tatted Baby booties progress and "PEAR GLACE" HDT
This is a new HDT, (Hand Dyed Tatting thread), that I have been working on for approx one month. I just couldn't seem to get the color just right but I had a brain wave and finally produced what was floating around in my head. "PEAR GLACE" has subtle and soft variegation and is lusciously "Peary".
After my last post I stopped following the pattern and went off in my own direction.....big surprise. Now I have ideas for my own tatted baby booty pattern, and this is just the first draft.
Another picture to get a better size reference. I used beads in the toe medallion. I hope my sister-in-law likes them.

Sherry, they're just adorable. I can't imagine anyone not liking them!
Of course she will love them - furthermore its in silk.
For all my DNw n DNc - none have handmade items. But I shower them with love and tenderness. I will teach them to enjoy sports (my Achilles heel) and crafting (most likely to start with scrapbooking).
Those booties are so precious! They are certain to become keepsakes. I love your new thread color too!
I love the new thread color, and the booties are adorable! What's not to like?!
The baby booties are beautiful. I am sure they will be liked.
I'm going to have to dedicate another drawer in my cabinet to HDT's. The pear glace is beautiful. You did a great job on the booties. Lucky baby!
very cute booties, Sherry and another award winning HDT
What a cute little baby bootie! The HDT looks very nice.
