TA DA! TIAS #4 complete

Well folks all good things must come to an end. This "Tat it and See" has been fun and challenging. I hope you enjoyed tatting it and hopefully learned something new. Please enjoy your Lighthouse bookmark. It's both knotical (nautical) and illuminating! LOL!

I tatted many versions of this and this one is the draft before the final draft.
This is not based on any particular lighthouse. I grew up on the Oregon Coast so I am very fond of lighthouses in general.

Congratulations to Jeanne L. of LadyTats and Pam of Hampshire UK for guessing correctly all the way back on Sept 22nd. Everyone else who guessed correctly did it right near the end. Congratulations to all! Looking forward to all the colorful lighthouses to come.

Never would have guessed a light house! I was not able to participate in the TIAS this time but have been following it through the blogs of those who do. My guess was a house, like the candy house in Hansel and Gretel, :-)

A very creative idea for a bookmark.

Thank you for this TIAS. I have not done the final day's tatting yet but I will this weekend. It was a lot of fun.

This is a very cool bookmark! You had me totally fooled... I'd have never guessed a lighthouse. When I get to the point where I can block tat without frustration, I'll definitely be making this. I love lighthouses too!

LOL! Sherry! You did a great job of keeping the mystery alive! That's great. A lighthouse bookmark; I've not seen one tatted before, that's for sure!!! That was great. I can't wait to get home tonight so I can tat it!

Love the colour scheme of your final lighthouse.
This has been great fun and a real tease, thanks for all your efforts. Will be finishing mine tonight.

You are so very welcome Wendy and Pam.

I think I am going to go back and tat this in size 80 and work on my tension.

Thanks for the TIAS. I had absolutely no idea what I was making until day 12 was revealed. This is a wonderful design to practice chain tension. I thank you for introducing me to a lock stitch - I had no idea how crisp a corner could become with just one little stitch! You sure kept me guessing till the very end - what a great surprise. Thanks again!

I've been too busy to tat lately, but I couldn't resist following this project. You had me fooled to the very end. Thank you for giving us such a unique project and in such a delightful manner. I can hardly wait to give it a try.

i would not have guessed it but it's a great pattern, sherry. started joining in somewhere in the middle of the 'game' but didn't finish it due to various reasons. glad it's such a fun activity for many fellow tatters. thanks for the effort, sherry. looking forward to participating in the next TIAS.
