The DIZZY PICOT and #6 for the "25 Motif Challenge"

As promised here is my take on the dizzy picot...

#6 tatted in "TREEBEARD" hand dyed thread (HDT) size 20

I haven't forgotten that I am participating in the "25 Motif Challenge". I am just taking my time since I am so busy with other projects. This motif was tatted using the "dizzy picot" method introduced by TatMan Mark. I have expanded the idea by including a third picot and forming the half stitch the other direction to make the middle picot push forward or backward depending on the sequence that the dizzy picot half stitches are formed.
The yellow on the diagram demonstrates the dizzy picot. With the picot set on the left the middle picot is pushed forward while the picot set on the right the middle picot is pushed to the back.

I need to experiment a little more with this idea. Using longer picots will pronounce the twist

Very nice effect! I was hoping others would explore this strange feature further than I did. I like how yours gives a 3D effect. It is almost "Maltese"-like in the double picot look.
