First draft of "Bleeding Heart" tatting design.

I have some ideas for improvement, but this is what I've come up with so far. Since I am still living out of a suitcase most of my tatting supplies are packed away. I am annoyed that I cannot find everything I need.
It is a joy to be tatting and designing again...I've got lot's of other design ideas too but I am finding myself short on time. My life is super crazy right now. I really miss hubby; it's been 6 weeks apart now and still no word on when he gets to come home.
And my Internet connection is RUBBISH so I am not able to accomplish many of the things I would like. Even with all this I am still so thankful and I am smiling everyday!

It's a wonderful design! You've got the white part of the flower, the shape, everything.

Oooh, very nice! If that's just the first draft then the finished pattern is going to be fantastic. Just look at that! You even have the little yellow stamen in there. Once again, I'm glad you're home and hopefully your couch surfing days will be over soon.

That is so totally cute! I love bleeding hearts! ummm...the FLOWER, that is...that could be taken out context and sound totally morbid, LOL! Okay! Back to flowers! That is just beautiful! I hope we get to see the pattern, soon! I would love to add a little teardrop bead at the bottom, too! Glad that you are designing again! :)

Glad things are looking up. And the bleeding hearts look wonderful! I agree with Steph, the final will be fantastic! Here's hoping the hubby comes home soon (you do know that 'home' is where the heart is, so that must be when you're together!)

Beautiful! Yes, I agree with TattingChic, a teardrop crystal would give them the glitter! Glad you are back to your creative self and thanks for popping over to my blog.

What a wonderful job you have done of the flower. I see shades of happy Sherry showing through.

Carol, I am going through physical therapy and it seems to be helping a lot with the pain and headaches.
