"Rose Petals" tatted up

I decided to tat Iris's TIAS, in the new HDT (hand dyed thread) "ROSE PETALS". I couldn't wait to see how it tatted up and I think this pattern is a perfect marriage.
I am keeping track of how much HDT this pattern requires and I will let you know when I am finished.

Rose Petals is gorgeous in this pattern! I love the way the dark thread accents the beautiful rose colors.

Very pretty, Sherry. I never did finish Iris' TIAS...not sure I will, but it looks very nice in your thread. :)

Hi Sherry,
I can tell you that I used your hand dyed thread in size 20 of Marina and it took almost all of one of your skeins for the way you used your HDT and using a solid color together. YOu can see my Iris TIAS doily on my blog.

I think it came out very pretty. Loved the colors. The solid color for the doily is a torquiose Lizbeth thread.

Very pretty. I'm looking forward to seeing this finished and learning how much thread it took. I haven't quite gotten the hang of predicting the quantity of thread to the finished piece. Since HDT only comes in 50 yd skeins, I usually only tat small items.
