Woah! Look what I just stumbled across:
http://lace-knitting.hevv.com/content/crochet-tatting.html
The text is an exact copy of my Etsy thread description. My words have been pirated! I believe the photograph attached is also pirated.
Remember back when there was that "person" who was stealing our photos and such and trying to make money off of us tatters??
I wonder if that is the same person???

That is just weird. Not even a place to buy so-called handmade by her threads. Strange.
Thanks for the heads-up! I'd have made a comment there, if there had been an easy way to do it.
Love your threads. One of these days, I hope I can order some.

Noreen is a tatter altho she tends to knit more these days. I can't find her blog on my list but I don't remember the name of it either. She sells on Etsy too and yes, looks like her photo was pirated.
I think this blog is one set up to make money by people clicking on the ads/links so they just copy & paste a post to make it look active. That's my guess anyway. Could be the same person as before but could be someone else too.
Good grief! Some people have no shame, do they? Did you happen to have the Tynt tracer code on your blog?
There are so many great things on the internet, but every now and then I feel like I've stumbled into a dark alley. I've run across other "sewing" blogs which had mumbo jumbo entries and the comments promised to send you to very shady sites. It's just a shame. I'm sorry that YOU got drug into someone else's scheme. :(

Okay, I got a google alert with that link on it and I just thought that because of Noreene's photo that she had some new blog...I didn't even recognize the text as yours! OMGosh! Well, now it makes sense why it didn't make sense! I know that Noreene was very excited about her butterfly shawl! I should probably clean my computer after visiting that blog site! I'm not kidding!
Oh dear =(
Hi Sherry, I have emailed Noreen to let her know that her picture is being used like this, isn't amazing that they didn't care about the words she has applied to her picture.
I clicked on "lace Shawl" and the words don't match that picture any better then they did on the post you linked too.
Shame on those who deceive.
Thank you so much for finding this!
My blood pressure just went through the roof! I have sent them a letter telling them to remove my photograph immediately.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
thanks again and sigh...
I hate it when scuzzy people steal other people's hard work!
