My Girl Cave

Ta Da! Here is my tatting/painting/reading/music/guest room. It is finished. Last time you saw it it had not been decorated. Now it has proper art, plants, cushions and such. My tatting center is located in the armoire..."Top Secret" stuff there...LOL!
Hubby calls it my "girl cave" now, at least he stopped calling it the "Old Lady room". It is a very peaceful place and is perfect for designing because I can relax and let inspiration flow uninterrupted.

I framed these art dolls designed by a fellow artist and friend. I loved the way the project turned out so I just had to share it with you all.

Don't forget to come back Monday for the next installment of my MONDO Giveaway....what could it be this time?????

I love your 'girl cave'! It looks very calming. I can see how you can be creative in this room. When I get my craft room you are welcome to come decorate for me! (okay, it'l be awhile yet, but it's coming!)

I've mentioned your giveaway on my blog. I'm looking forward to what the winner gets this week.

Oh Cool, "A Room of Your Own"! Beautifully appointed and serene. Every woman craves a room of her own and I'm glad you have your sanctuary.
Thinking of you up there in the sprinklings of snow. How bout I drop by and we have Hot cocoa and I'll bring home-baked cookies? :>)
hugs, Bev

I like both your rooms, one serene and peaceful and the other bright and energizing. Sorry you will miss your dh and I just amazes me that the military has no concern for it's soldiers and their families, it seems to me that treating people with more respect and allowing proper notice would cause less stress and make it easier for thosse deployed to keep their minds on their jobs when they know that things are going well back home. Peace and blessings on both you and your dh during his and your deployment. It will be interesting to see what you creative juices bring forth during this time, as I can see you working out your not so pleasant feelings in your studio.
