Hold on to your hair everyone because today's giveaway is instant gratification and EVERYONE goes home with the prize.
Surprisingly for such simple looking pattern this took me weeks to get right. It has a folded ring in it so for those who haven't had the privilege of tatting one, now is your chance. It's a great pattern for using up that left over thread on your shuttles....and it tats up very quickly. Enjoy!
This was tatted in KrystleDawn's "Windbreaker".
I have been working a lot with precious metals in the studio and that got me to thinking about tatting with wire. I have done a lot of tatting OVER wire but have never tatted WITH wire. This is copper wire and it tats up as nicely as you could ever expect wire to tat up. I am playing around with it as I can see a lot of potential in its application, so we will see where this endeavor leads me.
Also, I am refining my skills with my new line of shuttles. They are incredibly expensive to make as one might expect when working in precious gems and metals so I have very little to no room for mistakes. I am very excited about what I have so far and I will be putting a couple up for sale real soon.
This is a ring that I made with a small portion of left over materials, I really love it. Now mind you, I am not in the jewelry making business and don't intend to branch off into what thousands of other people can do better than I, but it is good practice for my future shuttles.
If you like this pattern and decide to download it, please just leave a quick comment letting me know that you did!

I want to say "Thank you" for the treble clef pattern. I have printed it out and hope to try it soon.
I love the treble cleft in copper - the color and the shape just turned out great.

My, you are ambitious! The new shuttle looks very intriguing!
The treble clef is adorable! Maybe an embellishment for a hanky? I think I'll have to try it out! Thank you, Sherry!
That clef is too cute! I have a pattern for musical notes somewhere and of course, a g clef is exactly what they need.
I like the Treble Clef note. Now I have something new to empty a few shuttles. Thanks Love the new shuttes and the ring.
I LOVE this treble clef! I think I will tat this up a lot! Thanks!
Fox : )
Thank you so much for the pattern. I plan to download it as soon as I get home from sitting at the hospital with my husband. My daughter will love this! Have a great day!
Milles mercis for the treble clef freebie! I will be tatting a few of these little darlings for my niece and nephew are are "bandies."
I also love the'musical' pattern. My daughter teaches music and have been searching hi and low for unique pattern to make earrings for her. She will love theses! Thanks for sharing. I also like the kind of giveaway when everyone is the winner!
Thank you for the treble clef pattern! Wouldn't it make a cute pair of earrings if done in really tiny thread?.....
Being a musician as well, of course I had to download the treble clef pattern!
It's so generous of you to share this wonderful treble clef!
I think it will be a perfect pattern for some 'thicker' (size DMC metallic thread that I just started experimenting with last night! I can visualize it on black velvet in a frame with a gold oval mat, to place on a table next to my piano keyboard. Of course, it has wonderful 'gift' possibilites! Thanks so much!
I'm assuming if you're tatting with wire and working with metal, your hands/wrists must be feeling strong again! I'll leave wire tatting to artistes such as yourself!
It's great to see your creative spirit and enthusiasm coming back after your recent stressful times.
Very beautiful shuttle, Sherry! Working with precious metal clay makes my blood pressure rise! LOL
Thank you for the pattern. I can visualize it on the corner of a handkerchief for a music lover.
LOVE the pattern, thanks, it will be just perfect for my son's wedding as he is marrying a singer/music teacher.
It's fitting that you used my thread to make that design.....Music is my day Job! I've been looking for a good shuttle emptying pattern too! Now I'll have a chance to practice the folded ring before your angel at shuttlebirds.
Thanks for the pattern, Sherry! I've got a couple of musician friends that will get a kick out of it (at least they'd better!).
Love the treble clef pattern. I bet it would be fun on a paper clip to mark music students' pages. Thanks
That is a really neat pattern, Sherry!!! I will tat that up sometime! I have a beautiful tatted doily pattern from another tatter that has large treble clefs incorporated into the pattern and I also have some music note patterns so this is fun to add to my "musical tatting patterns" collection! LOL! :)
I am also really excited to see your new line of tatting shuttles! I wish I was feeling better and had the extra money to spend on them! I love the thought of tatting shuttles with precious metals and gems because that is how knotting shuttles were way back when so I have always wanted a tatting shuttle with precious gems on it.
Is the shuttle shown in the photos one of your new shuttles?
Well have fun with your many talents!

Oh, cool pattern! Thank so much for it. I am thinking of making a Christmas card with it!
Thank you for the pattern. I have so many friends who are musical, will really come in handy. And battater is correct, it would be great for any number of cards for special folks.
BTW YOU can count on me for 1 of your new shuttles when they come out! Add to my art collection of form and function.
hugs, grams
This is a great pattern. Thank you for sharing it. Looking forward to seeing you in Spokane! Karen in OR
The treble clef looks amazing, Sherry (which I downloaded this morning). Definitely one to keep for card decorating!
The tatting with wire certainly gives a very interesting look!
Sherry,
Thanks so much for sharing the treble clef pattern its awesome.
Good luck working with the copper wire. I don't know if copper wire comes in different levels of softness like silver does, but if it does I would recommend looking for "full soft" it should make it easier to work with.

The shuttle is beautiful! I am impressed. I also like the little pattern. I will download it for the future when my hands ARE GOING TO BE BETTER! Thanks for designing and sharing.
Hi Sherry!
Thank you for sharing the treble clef pattern. It's really great! My daughter is musical. I think it would be fun to tat a snatch of music for her!
:) Ann
Hi Sherry! Once again you outdid yourself, both in creativity and in generosity! Thanks for the treble clef pattern. I can't wait to make it. Have some thread on the shuttle needing to be used. :)
I love your wire tatting. I have tried once, but it was difficult and didn't look so great. Yours looks like it was done by a pro, which, of course, it was.
I also love your new shuttle and ring. Beautiful!
Blessings,
Kate H.
