Bessy the tatted cow
This is the first of the the barnyard animals that I am tatting for our State fair. I have been waiting for an opportunity to tat Christel's patterns and what a delight they are!
I really like Weidman's book, too! I have yet to tat an animal; but, I visualized nice kitchen towels for my daughter BB, with chickens. And for my cousin, chickens and cows. For ME, I'd do the bunnies. I do love Bunnies (Even Craig Ferguson's rather 'potty mouthed' bunny LOL). I even have the perfect thread that is the colour of a marbled tabby. I'm so glad you are tatting…love your cow...

She looks utterly beautiful!!!
Besty is a very lovely lady! I'm sure that you will do well in the fair with her. Good luck!

hugs, grams
Your thread is perfect for the cow, I have just used it for an alligator.
Great pattern. Haven't made any out of the book yet.
Bessy is adorable. I was having a bad day until Bessy brought a smile to my face.
Is she beautiful? It's a MOOOOT point...
Fox : ))
I love the way her patterns capture the essence of the animal. You can almost hear this one moo! Lovely thread color choice.
