Good news and not so good news....but mostly good news!

Having fun with Daddy

Miss P is growing so fast. She is 3 1/2 months old here.
She is my little blond hair blue eyed cherub. As much as I hate to admit it, I entered this world as a blond and so did hubby for that matter. I am very proud of my dark chocolate locks and I expect Piccadilly won't be blond for long either.
The good news is that my DH is home and will get to stay home for awhile...the bad news is that he is home because he is really sick and will be going through treatment for the next six months before the military reassesses him. That also means that we will be staying in the great state of Idaho for a little longer than expected...(no complaints there!)...and that means once again we do not know what the future holds as far as where we will live and what we will be doing.
It is a bittersweet situation.
Between hubs and baby I am getting no sleep.
I am having migraines everyday and they are making me sick. I think I have had too many head injuries throughout my life...most of them due to my days of being a snowboard bum.....still I would not trade a single one of those days.
Life is extra challenging right now...in fact 2011 is shaping up to be another crummy year already. I always hope things will improve but if I expect them to improve I am afraid I will just suffer more disappointment.
Chronic stress, pain, and illness has been the theme of the last 3-4 years. I am so ready for a change.
More good news is that I am releasing not one but TWO more tatting books this year! Whoo hoo! The patterns are mostly done, it is just a matter of putting it all together.
Cheers,

Having Daddy to play with for a while might take some stress off you, if it wasn't for his illness. Home is good, though. I hope you can both get your health issues squared away sooner rather than later. Picadilly is just adorable -- love the feet!
Two new books (oh, wow!). I've got to start saving my pennies. Oh, heck, I'll go whole hog and save some dollars!

I'm sure things will get better this year. There are an entire 10+ months left in the year. :-)

I'm new to the tatting community (I've tatted for a little while, though) and I noticed that you're from Boise! I just moved to Nampa last month! :-D

Hubbie will be in my prayers that all will turn out well and healthy. I wish the same for you.
Am looking forward to your new book as well!
Time flies so fast when you have children. Enjoy these precious moments!

I love the picture of the feet, so cute. Still keep your chin up about your migraines, etc. I hope & pray it gets better. Kudos to you for the two tatting books. :)

Piccadilly sure is growing! I'm glad you'll have hubby home for a while. I hope he heals quickly.

My granddaughter Eva is being treated for migraines, and she's only 8. Unfortunately, she gets the migraine gene from both her grandmas and her mom. I hope you find something that works for you.

I'm so sorry that your husband is sick - yes, it will be a stressful time for you, but you will come through it together.
At times like this it's helpful to focus on the things you DO have and take it all just one day at a time - it can only get better and I still think Piccadilly is the spitting image of her mother.
Two new books is really exciting, something to lok forward to indeed.

I have long felt that migraines should be outlawed. I certainly hope Idaho will lead the way and you will get better. (A gal can dream.. :-) )
Hope also that Hubby (with the cute feet) gets better each day. And that Ms. P (with the cuter feet) stays a living doll.

Do your best to get enough sleep. The dishes will wait and so will the laundry. Martha Stewart is not likely to show up at your door.

Do try to take care and maybe become a little less stressed out for a while. (little mommy voice in that) Two new books wow. Please keep me in mind if you need any test tatting done. Take care!!

Look at that little cutie! She is adorable. One day you will look at that photo and won't believe she ever had such tiny toes.

Geez being a wife and mom is hard work, isn't it?? I'm so sorry to hear about your migraines and about hubby's illness. Miss P will always make you smile though, and she loves you no matter how you're feeling.

Hang in there!
