Three years ago on Valentines Day I opened my LadyShuttleMaker Etsy Shop to sell my ceramic tatting shuttles and a few designs. Nearly two weeks after that I started this tatting blog mainly to support the shop. (Which means my blogaversary is coming right up....may have to do something special for that.) Well, so much has happened since then. I've made friends from all over the world, published three books, got my T.A.T Master's, hosted a T.I.A.S, taught in the online tatting class, designed and shared lots of free patterns, gave away hundreds of dollars worth of items, and let's not forget all the thread. I have Incorporated hook pens into the inventory and now am working in precious metals.
It makes me wonder what this next year will bring.
I've had many ups and downs with life and health which make me really appreciate those rare moments when I am pain free. I have experienced the kindness of others and have had the blessed opportunity to offer kindness to others. I have adopted (and been adopted by) tatting moms, sisters and grandma's and I have cried, laughed and rejoiced with you in sharing in your lives.
