Simple is lovely

I finished this edging and decided to leave it as is. I really like the simple quality it exudes. I have another hanky that I'll do a fancy finish for later.
I am enjoying tatting in all white again as it has been awhile. White is the essence of elegant lace to me. But I can't resist color, so I am sure I'll go back to that soon enough.

Your hanky is beautiful! Do you think that edging would work on a scalloped hanky... I have a few! Did you attach the edging as you tatted or sew it on when you were finished... maybe I'll forget the shawl and get back to edgings! Hmmm...

Hi Diane,
I don't see why it wouldn't work on a scalloped handkerchief. You should give it a try and let us know. I join my edgings as I tat them but I'm not sure that is the best way as I got a little tripped up on a corner last night.
