Queen Alexandra

Here she is completed. The pattern is pretty close to being finished. I may make a few slight changes here and there, Each wing is one continuous tat...it's proving a tad tricky to write up. This is based on a real butterfly that looks...., well pretty much like this. It is a protected species from the rain forests of Papua New Guinea. Even though my butterfly book doesn't say, I am assuming it is named after the real Queen Alexandra of Denmark.
This was tatted with that "Rubi 5" thread I bought. I really like it and have no complaints about it.
For size 20, "Flora" is still my favorite but I wish it came in as many colors as this "Rubi" 5 does. I have a few spools listed in my Etsy shop and will probably list a few more this week.

Very pretty! Will this one be in your book too?

Thanks Diane,
I might be able to squeeze it in. If not this one then the next.
