Ahem....When is it going to be Spring Ya'll???

The sun is so glorious today. It feels like Spring is just around the corner. And after such an awesome snow-filled winter I think I am ready for the next season. All the threads I have been dyeing lately are so "Springy".
In the past I have painted a series that I call "Lazy Dasies", so that inspired me to create "Lazy Daisy" hand dyed tatting thread.

Also, I have finished blocking the "Fuchsia" doily. I had so many cool ideas while tatting this that I am still re-working th pattern...hopefully the third time will be the charm.

The painting is very pretty. You should do more! The thread is a lovely match and does make me feel like spring is here. (We have a winter weather advisory for tonight and tomorrow.) The doily is getting better and better!

I am so ready for spring, too! But this morning it was 14 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and snow still piled high...
Anyway, your "Fuchsia" doily looks lovely the way it is! I like the contrast of the open areas with the more solid areas, and the points around the outside.

I can't wait for spring either. Today they are calling for up to 18 inches of snow, enough already. The doily is nice and I really like the thread.
