I'm here......

Oh my goodness, today is the first chance I have had to get on the internet. I am on base in the BX with dozens of people around me shopping and talking and eating. It's a bit distracting so I'll have to keep this one short. We arrived safely. I am terribly jet-lagged, but that is to be expected. I love Korea so far. We still have a lot of inprocessing to do, an apartment to rent, a cheap junker car to buy (hubby has insisted) even though the driving here is absolutely CRAZY!!!!
My dog seems to really love it here and she did great on the plane ride over. She is very popular with the Koreans...not because she looks delicious but because she is a large and unusual looking animal (at least that is what I like to think).
I have potentially great news, and that is I am pretty sure that being in Korea will not change my shipping prices. We have the equivalent of a USPS here on base, isn't that wonderful? The only thing that will be a little different is that it will take a few days longer for shipping for my U.S. and Canadian customers, and shorter shipping time for my other overseas customers.

We are temporarily staying at a friend's apartment and we are kind of out in the country. There are cows less than a block from the apartment as well as other farms.

Our first morning in Korea was a holiday, Buddha's birthday, and we awoke to drums and bellringing. It was kinda cool!

I have lot's to share and I hope to be fully hooked up to internet soon. I have lot's of emails to respond to but cannot do it today.
I hope to re-open the Etsy shop in a day or two. I haven't had any time to sit and tat yet...but I am just itching to do it!

Welcome to Korea! There are generally two schools of thoughts about the attitude of Korea and that is hate it or love it. =) Sadly some folks hate it but that definitely isn't me! If you are up for an adventure, dont mind being stared at and sometimes prodded and want a good laugh you will definitely love it! It is a life changing experience and yours for the taking! (Try tatting in public-they will be shocked that an American can do something so pretty!)

I apologize for not doing your tag a while back. My blogging has been pretty sporadic lately!

Thank you everybody! I would love to repond to each one of you personally but I only have small chunks of time on the internet. Keeping my fingers crossed to get my own connection soon.
