A new family member for the holidays!

Look who arrived on Christmas Eve, it's Brendan the Bold, a.k.a "The Navigator" or "The Voyager". Click on his name for some great info!
He hails all the way from Cork Ireland compliments of Pamela of TatsKool.
My husband was the one who retrieved the package from the Post Office and decided to open it....even though it CLEARLY was NOT addressed to him...LOL!
When I saw the package was from Pam I got spaztastically excited and I may have embarrassed myself in public and confused my husband. I don't know....the details are fuzzy....

First I must show the beautiful Christmas Card with Pam's original snowflake pattern tatted in her own "Rainbow Bright" HDT.

And here is Brendan...Ta da! After such a long trip, I think he was a bit miffed at first to find he had landed in Korea...but he quickly adjusted and is now making friends. Just look at the smile on his face! I also got a skein of said "Rainbow Bright"...now I can quit slobbering all over my screen at everyone else's projects tatted in this wonderful thread.

Pam said that giving me HDT was like "sending coals to Newcastle"....(as Newcastle mines coal)...but I say not! Let me ask you, If you were rich would you object to someone giving you money??? Probably not...right???
Well, I have HDT from Marilee and I treat it like it is gold, and I will do the same with Pam's HDT. Thank you Pam!

I gave Brendan the run of the house so that he could get himself acquainted. Since Andy was the first face that Brendan saw, he immediately bonded with my giant Leprechaun of a husband. .... Well, Andy is unnaturally lucky AND very mischievous!

Then Brendan saw Chloe. Chloe is a cousin that is visiting for the holidays while her parents are in America.

And being the bold animal lover that he is....he acquainted himself with Chicane!

...and he was ecstatic to find my HDT collection....it reminded him of his old home!

....and finally I told him he could give a "shout out" to all his brothers! So...Hi Oisin, Killian, Danny, Cormac, William, and Fionn!

....Oh...and for everybody else...check back for a little Christmas present tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Isn't it delightful how the love of tatting brings the world to our doorstep no matter where we are?

Merry Christmas!
