Shortly after my last post I was struck down by some sort of flu. I have spent the last three days in bed. I still don't feel very good...but being sick is really boring so I thought I would try to cheer myself up with a post.
Looky what I got for Christmas from our very own TattyCat. I feel so special to receive her artistic thread winders...Yep, they are hand painted and wood burned and aren't they gorgeous?Thank you Lala!
...And thank you TattingChic for honoring me with this fine award. Thank you, THANK YOU, I really love it!
It comes with some rules....hmmm let's see: 6 things that make me happy?!?!?!
These are not necessarily in any order.
2.) Snow
3.) My wiggly dog...even when she slobbers all over me which she just did a few minutes ago....Yuck!
4.) When people help people...My sister got into a car accident yesterday and a couple came to her rescue. I am so thankful for them.
5.) Junior Mints
6.) Not being sick...I feel like I've been ill 90% of the time I've been in Korea and frankly...I am getting fed up!
7.) Pottery...(I know I was only supposed to list 6 but I think my #6 may not count).
Since I posted my tatting shuttle giveaway I have discovered 8 new tatting blogs. Isn't that cool? And I am overwhelmed with the wonderful response I have received so far!
...O.k. This took all my energy so I'm going back to bed....

Sorry to hear you have the yuckies, unfortunitly it is flu season. Just keep those liquids in you! I like tatting and snow too(not to drive in- but it does look nice when it covers the ground and the last light of the day is shinning on it. Of course this is before traffic has made a mess of it.) I hope you will be up and around and your happy self again soon!
Sissy I am thankful to have you! We will have the best christmas when you come home in a few months!!!
