Kyoung Mi? Well I enjoyed yesterday's cooler weather so much I walked to her little pottery shop for a visit. I brought my Chicane with me because Kyoung Mi is an animal lover (just like me). We had a lovely visit and we made a date to start tatting lessons on Monday. She asked if she could bring some friends. I am really excited. I will get to teach tatting in a country where tatting does not exist. And while teaching I will be surrounded by Kyoung Mi's beautiful pottery. It sounds like heaven.
Let's just hope that I will have the ability to teach well. I don't think teaching is my strong suit but I am hoping that my passion for tatting will overcome that. Of course we have a serious language barrier but I plan to bring a lot of visual aides.
On the tatting front, I have been practicing some weaving....Hmmmm looks like I'll need to keep on
practicing...

Tatting lessons on Monday... what fun! I wish I could join you! Weaving? Oh, my! I really need to retire so that I can tat to my heart's content!
I heard stories from my colleagues of langauage barriers in Korea when they went on tours, can be frustrating but so funny. But whatever, enjoy tatting. Personally, I think visual is more important and effective.

THat is soooo freaking cool, Sherry! It's so neat that you are going to be teaching tatting over there. WHat a wonderful way to advance the art of tatting . Good for you!
