I'm going on vacation....but my blog isn't!

Tomorrow we are leaving for a vacation in China. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. Excited to see the sites and history that China has to offer, nervous because there are lots of people in China and I am very claustrophobic when it comes to crowds. It's going to be interesting to say the least.
I haven't "unplugged" from my computer for several years, so I have decided to NOT take my laptop. Honestly, I don't know how I will survive without internet contact.
This will be a much needed vacation in many ways. Hopefully one of those get away from it all and hit the personal reset button.
We are choosing simplicity by going back to the basics, taking as little as possible with us, to allow ourselves to be wide open to adventures.

I do plan to take my tatting along....nothing can keep me from my tatting. Tatting is my therapy!

Even though I will be dropping off "the grid" for awhile; this blog will NOT.I have spent a lot of extra time preparing posts for this blog that are scheduled to publish almost daily during my absence. Cool huh? I sure do love technology! So even though I will greatly miss all that is going on in the tatting world...everything will be "as usual" here at Tatting Tales.
There are some really neat posts ahead, so please enjoy them while I am away.
Also, I have turned off my comment moderation for the time being so please leave me lots of comments....(yes I am needy for attention....LOL!) It will give me something to look forward to when I come back.
I'll miss you all while I am away!

Hi Sherry,
I am another one who isn't comfortable in crowds! Having the opportunity to see China though would be awesome. I hope you had a relaxing and lovely time. Thank you for linking to my blog- if I knew how to make a happy face there'd be one right about here! God Bless! sy
