So I woke up soooo happy on Thursday right? I had a physical therapy appointment that afternoon as I have been suffering from severe migraines and being pregnant cannot take any medications for it. Anyway, I arrived at my appointment all happy and bragging about my weight gain and telling my therapist how things were looking up...and I kid you not, five minutes into my therapy session I puked in his garbage can. I continued to feel pretty sick for the rest of that day. I went to bed that night at about 8:00pm (I know, pathetic huh?) and then woke up in the middle of the night to drink some water and that gave me the worst heartburn ever so I couldn't go back to sleep. I spent all day yesterday feeling "wrecked" and again had a very violent "throwing up" session. I have no idea what has gone wrong. Last night I didn't sleep well because I had cramps in my tummy, legs and feet. In fact, this morning DH says I woke him in the middle of the night screaming and convulsing (his words). I don't remember that. But I do feel as though I have run a marathon this morning.
I don't feel super awesome today, but I have to say my spirits are still pretty high. I am still enjoying being able to read blogs again at least.
Oh well, I am going to do my best to not let this get me down again. Piccadilly is still doing awesome and that is the most important thing!
I am hoping to get these Tatting Hook Pens listed in my Etsy shop this weekend, along with some more ceramic shuttles and perhaps some new hand dyed thread, all depending upon how I am feeling.
...until next time...

Sherry,
Not to be snoopy but are you to the last 3 months, yet? I just have a feeling that you are very likely to that point. I was ugly sick the 1st 3 months then fine the next 3 but the last 3 was as much fun as the 1st ones. Take it easy for both you & baby. Do you try soda crackers to help settle your stomache down? Or sipping a cup of tea? Yah, I know this isn't any fun, but soon your baby will be in your arms. Then she will be making everything you do an adventure. I can't wait to hear about that. You need your rest now for keeping up with her when she comes into your world. I hope your day is beautiful & relaxing for you.
And you have HOW much longer? Good heavens, it makes me wish all those science fiction books were true and you could just pop Picadilly into an artificial womb! At least you're getting some tatting time, small consolation though that may be.
You've come a long way from where you were and Piccadilly is doing great. Both of those are such good news. May your bad days soon disappear.
I really enjoy the hook pens I ordered from you a while back. Much safer to carry around than my usual hook. Thank you.
I'm so sorry this is still happening. I'm glad you're able to keep your mood up, though. Before, you seemed to be so depressed as well as physically ill, so the positive outlook is an improvement.
I am now in my third trimester. The first trimester was simply awful and the second trimester was even worse landing me in the hospital three separate occasions. I am hoping this third trimester will be better. ...and believe you me I have tried EVERYTHING for nausea. These past couple days have not so much been nausea but more like spontaneous vomiting. I will be relieved when this pregnancy is over to say the least.
We just received news of the arrival of a baby girl for our friend in California. She too went through projectile vomiting during and up to the last months. Not as ill as you have been; but, not a pleasant pregnancy.
That said, just remember there is a given end…and the journey will have been worth it ~ just remember not to (in the baby/child's presence) to relive your pregnancy. My first came breech and natural (NOT FUN) and, unfortunately, I talked about that in front of Lori and she got the idea in her head (as a child) that I hated her because she caused me so much pain. I had no idea that those kinds of thoughts were being absorbed into that little blonde head. Took me years to dissuade her of that impression. Our words have a strong impression on those young ears. Just a word to the wise! LOL
love, grams
Hi Sherry,
I'm so sorry, but I am glad that your spirits were still up - that's important.
I know that when my mom was pregnant with me, she was sick the whole 9 months, and the only thing she could stomach to eat was potatoes.
Guess what my favorite food is... LOL
I'm so sorry you've had such a rough few days. I was so hoping you were over all that!
You are having a rough time. I feel so sorry for you. Hang in there - this too shall pass.
Thanks for the Firefox tip in earlier post. I was having fits with frozen screens..haven't had one problem since swapping over.
You and your family are in my prayers.
