I am always nervous and excited to see who is going to win. There were so many entries that it took me quite awhile to input the data. I was secretly hoping that maybe just maybe one of our tatting gentlemen would win because we have not yet had a male winner for a "Mondo Monday" but alas not this time....but keep trying men, your day will come!

I always feel a little sad for those who didn't win, (probably because I never win anything and I know how it feels.)
I truly wish that I were independently wealthy because then I would give every tatter a shuttle

On another note, I just got back from Okinawa, Japan. We were there just a very short time. It was a free trip and we made the most of it. Here are just a few of the hundreds of pictures I took.

Also, while we were in Japan we finally got our next assignment...albeit 2 months late. I am now in a flurry of activity trying to get caught up with organizing this move.
I'll give you a few hints. It's an overseas assignment. We had no idea it was even an option for us. Even though we were not mentally prepared for this assignment we are very grateful and excited for it. Oh and finally...it's a snowboarders Mecca!

Do you remember me saying that when the contest started a month ago I had 110 tatting blogs in my blog roll?....today I have 129!! That is 19 new tatting blogs in one month! Whoo Hoo!
